SSLC or its equivalent
Physical Qualification
- Height: A minimum of 165 cm
- Chest: A minimum of 81.3 cm and with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.
Note: Height of 160 cms will be sufficient for the candidates belonging to SC and ST.
Physique & Eye sight :
- Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Left Eye & Right Eye)
- Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Left Eye & Right Eye)
Physical Efficiency Test :
All candidates must qualify in any of the five events out of the eight specified below in the National Physical Efficiency Test.
- 100 Metres Run - 14 Seconds
- High Jump - 132.20 cm
- Long Jump - 457.20 cm
- Putting the Shot (7264 gm) - 609.60 cm
- Throwing the Cricket Ball - 6096 cm
- Rope climbing (using hands only) - 365.80 cm
- Pull up or chinning - 8 times
- 1500 meters run - 5 minutes & 44 seconds.
