Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam was established in 2015 with the major objective of setting up an education model that can produce best-in-class human resources in IT and harness the multidimensional facets of IT in various domains. IIIT Kottayam launched its doctoral programme to impart the knowledge, skills, and attitude to do world-class research in the area of computer science and its allied fields.

Eligibility: Computer Science and Engineering :- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Applications/ECE or equivalent area with a minimum CGPA of either 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% of marks in appropriate branches.

(ii)Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering from any IIT, NIT, IIIT/Other Institutions of National Importance with a minimum CGPA of either 8 on a 10-point scale or 75% of marks. Such students will be awarded both MS and PhD degree on completion of PhD Programme without any exit option during the programme.

Electronics and Communication Engineering: Master’s degree in ECE/EEE or equivalent area with a minimum CGPA of either 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% of marks in appropriate branches.

(ii) Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering from any IIT, NIT, IIIT/Other Institutions of National Importance with a minimum CGPA of either 8 ON a 10-point scale or 75% of marks. Such students will be awarded both MS and PhD degree on completion of PhD Programme without any exit option during the programme.

Computational Mathematics: 2 years M.Sc./Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics/Mathematics and Computing/Applied Mathematics/Statistics or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria and called for the selection process (Written test and/or Interview). The final selection will be completely based on their performance in written test and/or interview.

An application fee of Rs.1000/- for general/OBC and Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates will have to be paid through State Bank Collect.

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.
