Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for PG Courses

The Combined Entrance Test (CET) for admission into July 2023 session of postgraduate courses [MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh (6 yrs) and MDS] at Institutes of National Importance (INIs) for Medical Education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi and all new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER-Chandigarh and SCTIMST- Trivandrum will be held in the month of May, 2023.

Eligibility: A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 31st July, 2023 for all INIs except PGIMER Chandigarh.

Candidates who complete their internship after 31st July, 2023 are not eligible for Registration in this examination. Those candidates who have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 30th June, 2023 are eligible to admission for PG courses at PGIMER Chandigarh. The Indian National, who has obtained eligibility degree in India, must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations). For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate, For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate, For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (a) and (b) will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs shall apply.

Selection :All information as well as access to process related to INI-CET will be done through its online portal. The application process consists of three sequential stages; Registration & Basic Candidate Information, Generation of Exam Unique Code (EUC) for application for INI-CET, July 2023, Completion of Application for INI-CET, July 2023.

Application fee is to be paid at the time of application for the INI-CET, July 2023 (Completion of Application) in online mode. The application fees for General /OBC Candidates/Foreign National/OCI applicant is Rs.4000.00 (Rupees Four Thousand only), for SC/ST/EWS applicant is Rs.3200.00 (Rupees Three Thousand Two Hundred only) and for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are NIL (Exempted from payment of Examination fees).

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.
