Applications are invited from eligible applicants for admissions to the Integrated PhD Programme in Biological Science in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Eligibility: A minimum of first class or equivalent in Bachelor’s or an equivalent degree in Physical, Chemical or Biological Sciences (including Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Veterinary Sciences and Agricultural Sciences) or A minimum of first class or equivalent in BE/B Tech degree. The candidate should also pass JAM 2023 in Biotechnology (BT) or Chemistry (CY) or Mathematics (MA) or Physics (PH) or Biotechnology (BT).

Selection : Candidates will be short listed for interview based on their JAM 2023 score for all the four disciplines, and those cleared JEST 2023 for Physical Sciences. Selection for Chemical Sciences will be based on the performance in the interview; Biological, Physical and Mathematical Sciences will be based on combined performance in the qualifying examination and interview.

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.

Tech/ M.Sc./ B.Sc. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesiology- BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration.

Selection: For PG Diploma Programmes, the rank list is/are prepared based on the marks obtained by the students in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
