Department of Management Studies, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) offers two separate 2-year full-time programmes: MBA and MBA (Business Analytics). The programmes are designed to facilitate students in understanding, developing, integrating and applying knowledge of both core and specialized areas of management and their concepts and practices in the field of management, data sciences and energy domain.

Eligibility: Candidates with a Valid Score of any of the examinations of Common Admission Test (CAT-2022)/Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT-2023)/CMAT-2023 (conducted by AICTE)/ GMAT2022/2023/Management Aptitude Test (MAT-2023). A candidate must hold a minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) in 10th standard. A candidate must hold a minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) in 12th standard. A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute/University with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on 10 point scale (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as B.Sc./B.Com./BCA/B.A. (Mathematics/Statistics) from a recognized Institute/University with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI on 10 point scale (55% for SC/ST/PwD).Candidate appearing for final year examination of programme are also eligible to apply

Selection :Selection for admission in both the programs (MBA & MBA in Business Analytics) will be based on the merit with components such as CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT score, Academic performance, Work experience and Personal interview.

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.
