CIGI Vadakara Chapter Organizes Career Clinic and Career Expo

Kozhikode: The Vadakara Chapter of the Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI) successfully organized the Sixth Career Clinic and Career Expo at BEM Higher Secondary School, Vadakara, with the objective of helping students make informed career choices and explore a wide range of higher education and career opportunities.
The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of a large number of students and parents, who benefited from expert guidance on academic planning and future career pathways.
The event was inaugurated by V.K. Sunil, Sub District Educational Officer, Vadakara. The inaugural function was presided over by Ashraf Master, President of the CIGI Vadakara Chapter. Aslam N.V. and Mohammed Sunnummal addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of scientific career planning and informed decision-making.
The keynote session was led by Mr. Ramees Paral, who provided detailed insights into higher education opportunities after SSLC and Plus Two, emerging career sectors, and the process of selecting courses based on students' aptitude, interests, and future aspirations. An interactive question-and-answer session enabled students to clarify their doubts and receive expert guidance on various career options.
As part of the programme, individual career counselling sessions were also conducted, allowing students and parents to receive personalized guidance. The counselling was facilitated by a team of experienced CIGI career guides, including Najeeb Kiliyanni, Zubair T.K., Shamseera K.E., Ubaid K.K., Siddique Payyoli, Mohammed Sunnummal, Shakeeb Arsalan, and Sharaf Nada.
The successful organization of the Career Clinic and Career Expo was supported by Rashad Vadakara, Mohammed Kottaram, Naushad Master P.C., Aflah, Shanib Teacher, and Ranjith Master, who coordinated various aspects of the programme.
Shakeeb Arsalan welcomed the gathering, and Sauda Rasheed proposed the vote of thanks.
