Pathways After SSLC: Guiding Students Towards Informed Academic Choices

Kozhikode: The Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI) successfully conducted a career guidance session titled "Pathways After SSLC" on 19 May 2026 at 9:30 AM at the CIGI Campus, Chevayur.
The programme was organized to support students who had recently completed their SSLC examination and were preparing to make important academic decisions. The session focused on stream selection, subject combinations, the Plus One admission process, and the Single Window Admission System (HSCAP), enabling students and parents to better understand the opportunities available after SSLC.
The session was facilitated by Lubna Nufail, Career Counsellor at CIGI, who provided detailed guidance on selecting suitable academic streams based on students' interests, aptitude, and future career aspirations. Askar K., Director of the Career Guidance Department at CIGI, also interacted with students and parents, addressing their queries and offering practical advice on planning their educational journey.
