C-Focus I – Spell 1 Workshop Successfully Concludes at CIGI Campus

Kozhikode: The CIGI successfully concluded the first phase of its C-Focus I – Spell 1 workshop, a three-day intensive training programme organized as part of the organization's Human Resource Development (HRD) initiative. The workshop was held at the CIGI Campus, Chevayur, from 1 to 3 May 2026.
The programme brought together 45 CIGI volunteers from various districts across Kerala who had successfully completed the C-STEP training programme. Designed to strengthen leadership, competency, and personal development, the workshop provided participants with advanced training aimed at preparing them for greater responsibilities within the organization.
A series of comprehensive sessions covering leadership, communication, facilitation, team building, and personality development were conducted by experienced CIGI resource persons, including Dr. Jayafarali Alichethu, Ameen Mohammed, Mubeena Ambra, Aslam Thenhippalam, M.A. Rafi, Naseef, and Gafoor Attur. The interactive sessions focused on enhancing participants' professional competencies while fostering personal growth and organizational leadership.
The workshop was coordinated under the leadership of Fareeda Salam, Project Director of C-Focus; Rahiyana Beegam, Director of C-STEP; and Saeeda, Department Coordinator. The programme concluded successfully with participants expressing appreciation for the practical learning experience and reaffirming their commitment to contributing effectively to CIGI's mission of social development, competency enhancement, and community empowerment through volunteer leadership.
