CIGI and TKM Institute of Technology Conduct Career Orientation on Engineering Opportunities

Kozhikode: Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI), in collaboration with TKM Institute of Technology, organized an insightful orientation program on career opportunities in the engineering sector. The session, held at the CIGI campus in Kozhikode, aimed to guide students and parents on the wide array of courses and career paths available in engineering.
The program was inaugurated by CiIGI’s Director of Career Department, Askar K., and witnessed the participation of around 100 attendees, including aspiring engineering students and their parents.
CIGI’s expert resource person, Anwar Muttancherry, led the core session on “Engineering Opportunities, Various Courses and Colleges”, offering students a comprehensive overview of the field.
Sessions by academic leaders from the TKM Institute of Technology, Kollam, added depth to the event. Dr. Muhammad Shafiq Rahman (Head of Biomedical Engineering), Dr. Nijil Raj (Head of Computer Science), and Dr. Soni George (Head of Food Technology), along with faculty members Praveen K. C., Sreeraj Parakkal, and Dr. Surendran A., shared their insights on emerging trends, specializations, and academic prospects in engineering.
The program concluded with a note of gratitude and reflections by Yasin Ashraf, Coordinator of the Career Department, CIGI.
