II Batch of YMCT Fellowships Kicks Off with a Focus on Research for MBBS Students

The second batch of YMCT Fellowships, organized by the CIGI Scholarship Division with support from the Yasmin Mustafa Charitable Trust, officially began. The fellowship program encourages MBBS students to explore and engage in medical research.
The launch event, which took place at the CIGI headquarters, was graced by prominent businessman Mr. Ziyad, who inaugurated the program. The ceremony was chaired by CIGI Executive Committee Member Salim T and attended by several dignitaries, including Yasmin Mustafa Charitable Trustee Faiz Mustafa and Fellowship Mentor Dr. Shahana.
The event also saw the distribution of fellowships to deserving students who met the eligibility criteria for the YMCT and Sunrise Fellowships. These fellowships are designed to provide financial support and research opportunities to future medical professionals, enabling them to pursue groundbreaking research in the medical field.
CIGI Chief Operating Officer Anas Bichu welcomed the gathering, The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Chief Coordinator Zainuddin, who expressed gratitude to all the partners and supporters involved in making the fellowship program a success.
