NEET UG-2025
The wait is over! The NEET UG 2025 notification is out. The exam is scheduled for May 4, and applications can be submitted until March 7.
NEET UG is the only entrance exam in India for undergraduate medical courses, and the National Testing Agency (NTA) has now opened applications.
Applications for NEET UG 2025 can be submitted until March 7. The exam will take place on *May 4 (Sunday) from 2 PM to 5 PM* across *566 cities* in India.
What is NEET UG for?
NEET UG is the entrance exam for admission to various medical and allied courses, including:
✔ Medical Programs: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS
✔ Medical-Allied Programs: B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Forestry, Bachelor of Fisheries Science, BVSc & AH (Veterinary), B.Sc. Co-operation & Banking, B.Sc. Climate Change & Environmental Science, and B.Sc. Tech. Biotechnology (Kerala Agricultural University).
NEET UG scores are also used for B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing and other allied courses in Kerala.
NEET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Age Requirement:
- Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025 (born on or before December 31, 2008).
- There is no upper age limit.
✅ Educational Qualification:
- Must have completed Class 12 (Plus Two) or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as separate subjects.
- Should have at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.
- Students awaiting their Class 12 results can also apply.
✅ Who Else Can Apply?
- Students from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling), State Open Schools, or private studies under a recognized state board, who have studied Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject, can apply. However, their admission will depend on a court ruling.
- Candidates who have completed any of the following can also apply, subject to certain conditions:
- Intermediate/Pre-degree with science subjects
- Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination
- Three-year Science Bachelor's degree
- First-year examination of a Science degree
- Any other equivalent recognized examination
NEET UG 2025 Application Fee & Deadline
✅ Application Fee:
- General Category: ₹1700
- General-EWS/OBC: ₹1600
- SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹1000
- Candidates opting for exam centers abroad: ₹9500
✅ Payment & Deadline:
- The fee must be paid online by March 7, 2025.

until 11:50 PM on March 7.
