Can a doctor with an MBBS degree from India practice medicine in any country worldwide?

Doctors with an MBBS degree from India cannot practice anywhere in the world right away. Each country has its own licensing rules and procedures that must be followed.
Here are some countries where Indian MBBS graduates can practice, along with the required exams and procedures:

United Kingdom
- Exam: PLAB (Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board)  
- After passing the PLAB and obtaining General Medical Council (GMC) registration, Indian MBBS graduates can practice medicine in the UK.  

United States
-Exam: USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination)  
- Indian MBBS graduates must pass the USMLE and obtain certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) to practice in the US.  

Canada
-Exams: MCCQE Part I and MCCQE Part II (Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination)  
-Language Test: IELTS or CELPIP  
- Successful completion of these exams and language proficiency tests is required to practice in Canada.  

Australia  
-Exams: AMC CAT MCQ Exam and AMC Clinical Examination (Australian Medical Council)  
- These exams are necessary to obtain registration and practice in Australia.  

New Zealand  
-Exam: NZREX Clinical (New Zealand Registration Examination)  
- Indian MBBS graduates must pass this exam to register and practice in New Zealand.

Singapore  
-Exam: SMC Qualifying Examination (Singapore Medical Council)  
- Indian MBBS graduates must pass this exam to practice medicine in Singapore.  

Middle East Countries  
- Indian MBBS graduates can work in countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.  
- Each country has specific licensing requirements:  
  -UAE: Pass the DHA (Dubai Health Authority) or HAAD (Health Authority of Abu Dhabi) exams.  
  -Oman and Saudi Arabia: Clear the Prometric exams.  

Important Points to Remember.

- Each country has different licensing rules and procedures.  
- Knowing the local language or proving language proficiency is often required.  
- Some countries may also ask for additional training or 2–3 years of work experience.
