A key innovation is the introduction of challenge courses, allowing students to accelerate their learning by completing B.Tech courses ahead of schedule. By earning 160-170 credits through these courses, students can allocate their final semesters to valuable internships, gaining up to 6 months of practical work experience alongside their studies.
Furthermore, the curriculum emphasizes project-based learning, fostering hands-on experience and industry collaboration. Students will also have the opportunity to pursue internships for six months in selected institutions during their seventh and eighth semesters. For those interested in entrepreneurship, a specialized 'minor' in the subject is now available, complemented by a course in intellectual property rights.
In a significant departure from traditional methods, the revised curriculum tailors the teaching of fundamental subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to align closely with each engineering discipline's relevance and requirements. Moreover, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are integrated across all engineering disciplines, ensuring graduates are prepared for emerging technological advancements.
