4 YEARS INTEGRATED B.Ed PROGRAM

Integrated B.Ed: Applications can be submitted till April 30.
The National Entrance Test for Admission (NCET) for the four-year Integrated B.Ed Programme (also known as the Integrated Teachers Education Program - ITEP) has opened its applications. Scheduled for June 12th, the exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) requires a basic qualification of Plus Two. Those who have recently taken the exam are eligible to apply as well. It's crucial to adhere to any specific conditions set by the institutions you're interested in joining.

It's crucial to adhere to any specific conditions set by the institutions you're interested in joining.

INSTITUTIONS:
There are a total of 6100 seats available across 64 institutions, including prestigious ones such as IITs, NITs, central/state universities, Regional Institutes of Education (RIE), and government colleges. Notably, in Kerala, institutions like NIT Kozhikode (offering BSc - B.Ed with 50 seats), Central University, Kasargod (offering BSc - B.Ed, BA - B.Ed, B.Com - B.Ed with 50 seats each), and Central Sanskrit University Guruvayur Campus (offering BA-B.Ed with 100 seats) are participating.
In addition to taking the entrance exam, candidates must separately apply to the institutions they wish to join and actively engage in their respective admission processes.

EXAMINATION:
The exam is computer-based, comprising solely multiple-choice objective questions. It can be taken in 13 languages, including English and Malayalam, and consists of four sections.
Section 1 requires candidates to select two languages out of 38 available options. Each language section comprises 23 questions, of which 20 must be answered, totaling 40 questions.
In Section 2, candidates choose three domain subjects related to their desired programs from 26 options. Each subject section contains 28 questions, with 25 required to be answered, totaling 75 questions.
Section 3 is the General Test, with 28 questions, of which 25 need to be answered.
Section 4 assesses Teaching Aptitude, featuring 23 questions, of which 20 must be answered.
Candidates must answer a total of 160 questions within 180 minutes. Detailed syllabi are accessible on the exam website.

APPLICATION:
To apply, visit ncet.samarth.ac.in and submit your application by 11:30 pm on April 30th. Corrections to any errors can be made between May 2nd and 4th. The application fee is Rs 1200, with a reduced fee of Rs 1000 for backward/economically backward students and Rs 650 for SC/PWD/Transgender candidates. There's no age limit for applicants. You must select two exam centers from the 178 available options. In Kerala, exam centers include Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Kannur. For more information, please visit ncet.samarth.ac.in.
