KARNATAKA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST(KCET)
If you are a student aspiring to pursue higher education in Karnataka, here are some important aspects that both you and your parents should be aware of.
This information relates to the admission process for medical, allied courses, and BSc Nursing for the academic year 2024-25 across various colleges in Karnataka. In accordance with the directives of the Government of Karnataka and Rajiv Gandhi Health University, admission to the BSc Nursing course starting from the academic year 2024-25 will be facilitated through a common entrance test (CET) organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
This presents a valuable opportunity for students to secure admission to colleges across Karnataka, encompassing prominent cities like Bangalore, Mysore, and Mangalore—crucial hubs for Malayalees seeking nursing education. The Karnataka government emphasizes that, starting this year, admission to all types of quota seats will be exclusively granted to students who have participated in the Common Entrance Test (CET) and are included in the rank list.
Therefore, it is imperative for aspiring nursing students to promptly register for the Karnataka Examination Authority's CET. Below, you will find the link along with important dates for online registration for the CET Exam.

Registration Ends: 10-Feb-2024

This process applies similarly to medical allied courses and government engineering seats. Applicants aiming for medical and BDS admissions should apply promptly. Similar to previous years, there won't be a submission window post the NEET exam result. The only option afterward is to add the roll number and rank upon result availability. Gadinadu Horanadu applicants must now apply for the mandatory Kannada test, with no further opportunities or exams available.
Those aspiring for medical admission in Sathya Sai College without a fee of Re 1 should focus on the CET.
For admission to private engineering institutions, candidates should participate in ComedK.
Keep in mind to regularly seek out opportunities and remain alert for updates.
