What is the procedure for obtaining confirmation to appear for the Kerala PSC exam?
The PSC has introduced a confirmation system to distinguish candidates who have expressed their intention to take the exam from among those who have submitted the PSC application, and to enable them to appear for the exam exclusively. Only candidates who have verified their confirmation through their profile will be eligible to download the admission ticket for the relevant position.
What is the process for confirming an application submitted to the Kerala Public Service Commission?
The Kerala Public Service Commission releases a calendar of upcoming exams three months in advance, along with relevant details about the exam posts, confirmation deadlines, and admission ticket download dates for confirmed candidates through their profiles.
During the designated confirmation period, candidates are required to verify their confirmation through their profile. Verification cannot be completed after the specified period for any reason. Only candidates who have confirmed during the allotted time frame will be able to download their admission ticket, which includes details such as the exam center and registration number. It is essential for candidates who plan to take the exam for a particular post to confirm their application during the designated period to avoid missing the opportunity. Additionally, a separate confirmation for each post is required during its specific confirmation period.
Candidates can register for various posts by visiting the official website of the Kerala Public Service Commission at www.keralapsc.gov.in THULASI. After logging in with their user ID and password, they can access the Confirm Now button on the homepage to confirm their application. If a confirmation period is currently open for any particular posts, candidates will see a notification on the screen showing the number of available posts.
To confirm the application, click on the Confirmation button, which will display the available posts and corresponding buttons on the right.
Next, select the Confirm button beside the relevant post.
To receive an OTP (One Time Password), click the corresponding button and provide your registered mobile number.
Once the OTP is received on your registered mobile, enter it in the specified location and click the Click Here button.
Next, review and accept the declaration on the screen, and press the Submit Confirmation button. Alternatively, you can click the OK button that appears to complete the confirmation process.
Confirmed candidates can download their admission ticket from the date it is made available until the date of the exam.
