The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently announced the notification for the 2023 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam. This exam requires a basic qualification of graduation in central services for the available positions. SSC follows a yearly process of inviting applications, conducting exams, and finalizing appointments.

🟰 The deadline for submitting applications for this year's SSC CGL exam is May 3, with the cut-off time being 11 pm.

📍 The last date to pay the application fee of Rs 100 is May 4, with an extension till May 5 for those who choose the bank challan option.
📍 Women, SC, differently-abled, and ex-servicemen applicants are exempted from paying the application fee.
⌛ This year, approximately 7500 vacancies are anticipated for the SSC CGL exam, with varying age limits for different posts ranging from 18-27, 20-30, 18-30, and 18-32.
▫ Reserved categories are eligible for exemption as per the relevant rules.
▶The eligibility criteria for the SSC CGL exam are subject to variation based on the nature of the posts available.

Eligibility criteria for the posts:
1. Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
Essential qualifications: Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Preferred qualifications
Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
In order to secure a permanent position as an Assistant Audit Officer or Assistant Accounts Officer, individuals who were hired directly must pass the "Subordinate Audit/Accounts Service Examination" specific to their branch during their probationary period.

2. Junior Statistical Officer.
candidates must have a degree at the 12th standard level with a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics from a recognized university or institute, or a bachelor's degree in any discipline with statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.

3.Statistical Investigator Grade-II.
candidates must hold a degree from a recognized university or institute in any subject, with statistics as one of the subjects. Additionally, candidates should have studied statistics as a subject throughout their undergraduate course of three years or six semesters.

4. Research Assistant in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)
Essential qualifications: Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications: Minimum one year of research experience in any recognized university or recognized research institute as well asbachelor's degree in law or human rights from a recognized university.

5. For all other positions
candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
It is recommended that candidates carefully read the notification on the website before applying.

🔰 Examination centers in Kerala include Kozhikode (9206), Thrissur (9212), Ernakulam (9213), Kottayam (9205), Kollam (9210), and Thiruvananthapuram (9211).
🔰 Candidates should choose three centers within a region in order of priority and should not apply for more than one region.
🔲 The examination will be conducted in two phases and will be held online.
There will be 100 objective questions of multiple choice pattern in the first phase of the exam which can be expected in July.

For each incorrect answer, half a mark will be deducted.
