TechBee is a career-integrated program that provides rigorous training for a duration of 12 months to equip candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge required to become IT professionals at HCL. In previous years, the program has successfully recruited over 2000 individuals who have now become full-time IT professionals at HCL.
HCL's program aims to prepare Class XII or intermediate students for entry-level IT jobs by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge. The program has a keen understanding of the requirements of the Next Gen and offers a unique opportunity to obtain an engineering degree from prestigious technical institutions in India, by integrating it with top-quality engineering work. By joining HCL and enrolling in this program, candidates can also pursue higher education at renowned universities such as IIM Nagpur, Amity University Online, SASTRA University, KL University, BITS, and Pilani.
To become a TechBee, candidates must first take HCL's SAT (HCL Standard Randomized Test) entrance exam. After clearing the exam, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview, and those who are selected will receive an offer letter to join HCL Technologies as a trainee. However, candidates who are accepted into the training program will be required to pay a fee of Rs 2 lakh (plus GST).
The TechBee program offered by HCL Technologies offers a unique hybrid training experience to class XII students, providing comprehensive training in both skills and communication over 12 months. During this period, participants will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 10,000. This program allows students to focus on job preparation, as well as their overall education and personal growth.
Upon successful completion of the 12-month training program, graduates will be offered employment by HCL as IT Engineers at an annual salary of INR 1.70 lakhs (for Associates) and INR 1.88-2.20 lakhs (for IT Services). The opportunity to enroll in higher education institutions such as Amity University Online, IIM Nagpur, SASTRA University, KL University, BITS, and Pilani is available through employment. This program is attracting a lot of interest from young students, as it promises a job at a reputable IT company with an annual salary of approximately Rs 2 lakh after completing one year of training following their secondary education.
This year, HCL's TechBee program is exclusively available to individuals who have completed their Class XII/Intermediate education in the 2022-23 academic year. To be eligible for the program, it is mandatory for candidates to have studied Mathematics or Business Mathematics during their +2 education.
