The University of Kerala has its departments of teaching and research (housed in University campuses). Also, it maintains several affiliated colleges spread over four southern districts (Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha) of the state. The 44 teaching and research departments are organized as eleven schools, most of which are housed in the Karyavattom campus. Teaching, research and knowledge extension are the mandates of the departments. They primarily focus on post-graduate (masters) programmes and doctoral (PhD) programmes and post-doctoral programmes. Applications are invited for MA Arabic for the year 2023-2025.

Eligibility: B.A Arabic, Any BA/BSc. with at least 4 Arabic language courses; B.A/B.Sc. in Afzal-ul-ulama, Any graduate degree in 10+2+3 pattern with not less than 50% marks / CGPA in the Afzal-Ul-Ulama preliminary examination of any Universities in Kerala or the Arabic teachers examination of Pariksha Bhavan.

Selection: Selection will be based on the Rank list prepared based on the performance in the entrance exam. For sponsored candidates, ranking shall be based on 80% weightage for CGPA/aggregate marks at bachelor level and 10% for work experience (1%/year) and 10% for an interview conducted by Department Council.

Post Graduate Diploma in Coffee Quality Management

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.

An application fee of Rs.1000/- for General and Others and those candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories of Kerala origin should remit Rs. 500/- as the application fee (excluding bank processing charges). After remitting application fee, candidate should take the print out of the fee receipt

Eligibility: For P.G. Diploma in Climate Services in Animal Agriculture- M.V.Sc/ Ph.D./ B.V.Sc. & A.H. in the case of departmental/ Sponsored candidates. P.G. Diploma in Climate Services- B. Tech/ M. Tech/ M.Sc./ B.Sc. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesiology- BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration.

Selection: For PG Diploma Programmes, the rank list is/are prepared based on the marks obtained by the students in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
