Common University Entrance Test for Admission to UG Programmes

National Testing Agency has been mandated by the Ministry of Education and UGC to conduct Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission into Undergraduate Programmes in Central Universities under Ministry of Education, and other participating Universities / Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges. CUET (UG) will provide a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organizations (including State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities) across the Country. The CUET (UG) - 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Eligibility: For appearing in the CUET (UG) - 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) - 2023 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Organization in which they are desirous of taking admission.
For CUET (UG) – 2023, fees will be charged based on the number of subjects chosen by the candidates. The following fee structure is applicable for CUET (UG) - 2023: Up to 03 subjects INR 750/- for General, INR 700/- for OBC)- (NCL) / EWS, INR 650 for SC/ST/PwBD/ Third gender and INR 3750 for Centres outside India.
Up to 07 Subjects INR 1500/- for General, INR 1400/- OBC- (NCL) / EWS, INR 1300/- for SC/ST/PwBD/ Third gender and INR 7500/- for Centres outside India.
Up to 10 Subjects INR 1750/- for General, INR 1650/- OBC- (NCL) / EWS, INR 1550/- for SC/ST/PwBD/ Third gender and INR 11000/- for Centres outside India.
