NIT Calicut invites applications from eligible candidates for admissions to two-years full-time MBA programme (2023-24). The students may opt for four elective subjects in any two elective streams of specialization and the remaining two electives from any five. In addition, the candidates must undertake three laboratories during the first three semesters and a business research project during the program's final year. During the annual break, the students will also have to undertake a mandatory summer internship of eight weeks in any of the reputed business organizations of their choice.

Eligibility:Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution, on a full time basis with an aggregate minimum of 60% (or 6.5 out of 10 CGPA) for candidates belonging to Open, OBC and EWS categories and 55% ( or 6.0 out of 10 CGPA) for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. Candidates seeking admission to M.B.A. Degree Programme should have completed and passed regular full time Graduation in any discipline from an approved Institute/ University with minimum 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5/10) in aggregate for Open/EWS/OBC categories and for SC/ST candidates 55% marks (or CGPA 6/10) in aggregate in the qualifying examination. Final year students (of the above-mentioned programs) are also eligible to apply for the MBA programme. The applicants should have a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score.

Selection :The selection will be based on scores obtained in CAT and performance in the oral presentation/essay writing, and personal interviews. Credits will be accounted for work experience, scores of 10th, 12th, Graduation, and PG/PG Diploma. Interviews will be held offline for selection of candidates. The aspirants shall be ranked based on their performance in group discussions and personal interviews, conducted as a part of selection procedure for admission.

Application fee is Rs.1000/- for OPEN/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates.

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.
