Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Ph.D. Programme of the Central University of Kerala starting from the even Semester of the academic year 2022-23.

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed a Two year/four semester Masters Degree after a three year Bachelor Programme, with a minimum of 55% marks aggregate or equivalent grade. Or One year/two semester Masters Degree after a four year Bachelor Programme, with a minimum of 55% marks aggregate or equivalent grade. Four year Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 75 % marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. or M.Phil. Degree with 55% of marks or its equivalent grade.

Selection :University shall admit students who qualify Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) under UGC/CSIR-UGC NET or any Governmental agencies, or pass in a national level test such as NET/GATE/CEED etc., based on an interview. All the eligible candidates shall be required to present and discuss their research proposal at an Interview before the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) concerned or a sub- committee constituted by it. The DRC shall have the power to allot candidates among the eligible supervisors having regard to the number of vacancies, area of research suggested by the candidates, the specialisations of the supervisors and also based on the reservation rules prescribed by the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Rules Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degrees) regulations, 2022 and as per the rules of the Government of India in force in this regard from time to time.

Candidates seeking admission to the Doctoral Programme in CUK may apply online as per the details available in the University website www.cukerala.ac.in by paying an amount of Rs.1000/- (for SC/ST/PWD candidates Rs.500/- only) on or before 25.01.2023.

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.

An application fee of Rs.1000/- for General and Others and those candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories of Kerala origin should remit Rs. 500/- as the application fee (excluding bank processing charges). After remitting application fee, candidate should take the print out of the fee receipt

Tech/ M.Sc./ B.Sc. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesiology- BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration.

Selection: For PG Diploma Programmes, the rank list is/are prepared based on the marks obtained by the students in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
