Applications are invited for Bayer’s Fellowship program - MEDHA is to provide fellowships in the form of financial assistance to students in the Life-sciences / Biotechnology/ Pharma discipline to continue higher studies such as Master’s and PhD Programs.

Broad Thrust Areas For The Research:Genomics and Proteomics, Bioprospecting, Industrial Biotech, Bioinformatics, Environmental Biotechnology, Drug Discovery , Biopharma , Food Biotechnology , Agriculture Biotech, Stem Cell Biotech, Infectious Disease Biology , Molecular Diagnostics, Antimicrobial Resistance, Pharmacology

Eligibility : Master’s fellowships : candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Lifescience/Biotechnology/Pharma with at least 55% marks or 6 on a ten-point scale and above. For PhD fellowships : candidate must have completed a Master’s degree in LifeScience/Biotechnology/ Pharma with at least 60% marks or 6.5 on a ten-point scale and above. Only open for first-year students enrolled in a Master’s/ PhD program in LifeScience/Biotechnology/Pharma at an Institute/university/Research Lab approved by AICTE/PCI/UGC/CSIR.

Age Limit for Post Graduate fellowship is 25 years or lower as on 31st December, 2022 and for PhD fellowship is 30 years or lower as on 31st December 2022. All candidates should be enrolled full-time and not be receiving any other fellowships. The duration of the Medha Fellowship shall be for a period of 2 Years for a Master’s program and 3 Years for a PhD program. No further extension will be granted. The candidate will be provided a fellowship For Master’s Program of Rs. 20,000 per month and For the PhD Program will be provided a fellowship of Rs. 40,000 per month. No contingency grant is admissible.

Post Graduate Diploma in Coffee Quality Management

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.

An application fee of Rs.1000/- for General and Others and those candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories of Kerala origin should remit Rs. 500/- as the application fee (excluding bank processing charges). After remitting application fee, candidate should take the print out of the fee receipt

Tech/ M.Sc./ B.Sc. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration. P.G. Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesiology- BVSc & AH / BVSc and VCI registration.

Selection: For PG Diploma Programmes, the rank list is/are prepared based on the marks obtained by the students in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
