Applications are invited for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 Session 1 (January 2023) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

For Academic Session 2023-24, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 2 (April 2023). JEE (Main) - 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Mode of Examination JEE (Main) - 2023 will be conducted in the this modes: 1) Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) is Computer Based Test (CBT) only. 2) Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on a drawing sheet of A4 size. 3) Paper 2B (B. Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode only.

Eligibility : The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) - 2023 examination.

Application fee for General male candidates is Rs-1000/-, while for females, it is Rs- 800/-.Online Submission of Application Form 15 December 2022 to 12 January 2023 (up to 09:00 P.M.) Last date of successful transaction of fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI is 12 January 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.) Announcement of the City of Examination will be the Second week of January 2023. Downloading of Admit Cards from the NTA website will be in the Third week of January 2023. Date of Examination is 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 January 2023.

B.Sc. Poultry Production and Business Management at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

The KVASU came into existence on 14th June, 2010, as per Ordinance number 44/2010 and later Act 3/2011 of the Government of Kerala. The University hence is the product of continuous and genuine pursuit and sustained dream of many people, who initiated the efforts since the mid-nineties. The establishment is also the result of the recognition of the need to advance animal production sector activities and to widen the arena of academic opportunities, applied research and entrepreneurship in the field of animal health, production and allied subjects. The University is a public funded University with headquarters at Pookode, Wayanad, and the powers of the University are vested in its authorities –the Management Council and the Board of Management. The university has called up for admission 2023-2024 in B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management).

Eligibility: For B.Sc. (Poultry Production and Business Management) 50 % marks in Plus two or VHSE of any stream.

Selection: The University will publish a rank list based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy, Thrissur and College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pookode, Wayanad. The selection for the BSc will be done from the corresponding rank list according to the rank, options and the reservation policies persist, through offline allotment process. The students have to attend the counselling process on the date notified by the University in the rank list.

An application fee of Rs.1000/- for General and Others and those candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories of Kerala origin should remit Rs. 500/- as the application fee (excluding bank processing charges). After remitting application fee, candidate should take the print out of the fee receipt
