Summer Fest 2025 Kicks Off in Kottayam with State-Level Inauguration

Kottayam: The state-level inauguration of Summer Fest 2025, a three-day Residential camp organized by the Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI), was held with great enthusiasm at Oshana Mount, Pala. Themed “Let’s Make Our Children Good Human Beings,” the camp is being held simultaneously across all districts in Kerala.
Poonjar MLA Adv. Sebastian Kulathungal formally inaugurated the event, while acclaimed writer and scriptwriter Shri. Benyamin graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The inaugural function was presided over by CIGI Cluster 3 Chairman Prof. Rasheed M. M. The objectives and vision of the camp were explained by TNC Department Director Shahid Elateil, emphasizing the importance of value-based education for today’s youth.
A wide range of CIGI leaders and educators addressed the participants, including Student Workshop Project Director Shabira P. T., HR Director Nisha M. M., kottayam chapter Camp Director P. P. M. Noushad, Faculty Leader Anshad Athirampuzha, Amin Mohammed, Ameer P. Chalil, Sharaf P. Hamza, Abin C. Ubaid, Asim Ahmed, Mohammed Shabib Khan, and Tasni Maheen.
Kottayam District President M. F. Abdul Khader delivered the welcome address, and District Treasurer Mohammed Shuhaib proposed the vote of thanks.
The camp promises a vibrant blend of academic sessions, interactive workshops, and value-driven learning experiences for students, all designed to nurture well-rounded individuals committed to positive social change.
